Investigate Niche KEYWORDs and Getting More Search Engine Traffic

Extensive keyword research should really be one of the first steps you take when you start a online business. In fact, it should be the basic foundation. It may not sound like much, but keyword research is critical to the success of your website, your lead generation and your business in general. Don’t forget about search engine submission.
Connecting your prospects to your online opportunity can be one of the most difficult things to accomplish as an internet marketer. Almost anyone can put up a simple capture page and put their opportunity information on it, but very few marketers are actually adept in driving traffic to their website. And therein lies the main difference between those who succeed and those who don’t. If you don’t know what keywords your prospects are typing into the search engines, you won’t be able to attract them, and they won’t be able to find you. It’s a very simple concept.
So much money is out there to be made on the internet, but with this great opportunity comes lots of competition. Many of the keywords in the online business niches are already saturated (i.e., a big number of people are already using them to optimize their websites and campaigns). For example, don’t even think of trying to rank your website for a phrase like “great home business.” There are probably a million other people trying to rank for the same word, and therefore, you wouldn’t even stand a chance of showing up near the top. So that said, your best opportunity to dominate online is to try to capitalize on niche markets within your industry.
You need to find the keywords that not many people are competing for, but which still have a high number of searches each month. This is how the heavy hitters in the industry operate. If you just try to rank for common keywords, then you’re sort of operating on the caveman wavelength. My suggestion is that you use a good keyword locater. I use what’s called the Micro Niche Finder keyword tool, and it allows me to uncover untapped niche markets. I start each campaign by doing diligent keyword research with this tool. Once I find words in my niche that have a high amount of searches and low competition, then I’m ready to go.
When I started with my web based business, I didn’t use any keyword tool and basically it was like I was driving at midnight with no lights. So if you take away only one piece of advice from this article, it should be to really focus on finding niche keyword markets and consider the advantage of using a keyword research tool.
Once you get your keywords and you have them on your site don’t forget to use a good search engine submission service, like “spin success” or “Flight search engine submission” You can find either one on any search engine.
